Information Technology & Management (ITM) Degrees
Beginning in Fall 2002, Illinois Institute of Technology's Center for Professional
Development (CPD) will offer two new degree programs to develop Information
Technology professionals:
- The Bachelor of Information
Technology & Management (BITM) is a transfer program that
focuses on the application and management of information technology, designed
to enable community college graduates or the equivalent to complete a bachelor's
degree while they are working.
- The Master of Information
Technology & Management (MITM) is designed primarily for working
professionals who seek a hands-on, laboratory based program which broadens
and deepens their knowledge of new and emerging information technologies,
the application and integration of these technologies and the administrative
practices used in the effective management of these technologies.

Information Technology (IT)
Illinois Institute of Technology's (IIT) IT Certificate Programs are hands-on
training classes designed for working professionals who are either looking to
upgrade their IT skills or make a career change into the Computer Technology
field.
All classes are held in state-of-the-art computer labs and are taught by IT
professionals who enhance the learning process with real world knowledge and
experience.
Classes can be taken as individual certificate programs, as credit towards
a Master of Science degree in E-commerce at the Illinois Institute of Technology,
or as a three certificate program that will award the student a Master Certificate
in E-business.
Educational tax credits are available for many students.
