This short course covers many features in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating personalized presentations incorporating customized backgrounds and multi-media features. Some of the topics covered in this course are as follows:
• Modification and creation of custom templates.
• Adding movies and audio to your presentation.
• Add chart functions.
• On-line meetings and shared workspaces.
• Integration with Excel and Word.
• Adding special effects.
• Basics of using PowerPoint templates.

Prerequisites:
• Basic knowledge of the Windows Operating System.
• Printing and saving of documents.
• Basics of creating a presentation using PowerPoint

Who should attend: This course is a follow-on to the PowerPoint 2003: Basics (SC 564) course that expands on the capabilities of PowerPoint. The material in this course covers the creation of presentations that include custom information.

Expected outcomes: Participants will be able to:
• Create presentations for use at meetings, sales presentations or for distribution over the Web or on CD.
• Create presentations to incorporate movies, animation and audio.
• Integrate PowerPoint with the other Microsoft® Office 2003 products.
• Customize presentations for an organization or product.
